We’re taking you back to the gritty NYC of the 80's, an era fueled by art, music, fame and limitless creativity. The film, directed by Julian Schnabel, feels like a beautiful piece of moving art with a captivating story line.
This is the final installment of our David Bowie in Film retrospective. We are showcasing Bowie in one of his greatest roles, as his own muse and long-time friend, Andy Warhol. A performance not to be missed.
Musician and actor, Brian Kelly, whose music is featured on the film's soundtrack, will perform songs from his album Each Day Blues with his original band. Additional monologues inspired by Kelly's personal interactions with both Bowie and Basquiat will be peppered throughout the evening."
This will be a very special night; intimate and full of art.
Following the screening we will continue to pay homage to the 80s with a New Wave dance party hosted by DJ Cindy Kim.
